“Jesus Generation” Christmas Programmes

“Jesus Generation” is a truly anointed Ministry run by Music Teacher, Marius and his wife, Teacher/Psychologist/Counsellor, Elena accompanied by their beautiful little daughter Jazgul. We are truly blessed to have them as leaders and give thanks for their commitment to this ministry. They love all the children and this love is reciprocated through the close relationship they share. Many of the parents also support this ministry and feel at ease to also take advantage of the free counselling service. Around 50 children attend weekly. Marius collects many of them from the city and surrounding villages in the minibus and they are safely delivered home.

It was a blessing for me to visit their sessions for 3 weeks during the trip – one day included celebrations for Romania National Day and I joined in with the crafts and lessons. Mike and Adina also made it for the Christmas Programme which was a delight. Marius and Elena and the children had even prepared some English carols especially for us and we all joined in with the Romanian ones too. There were also solo spots – a prize giving ceremony followed by a pizza party with chocolates and fruit. The last evening ended with the distribution of the shoe boxes.
